POSITION TITLE: Research Associate 1 – Immunoblot
Salary range: $53,000 - 63,000 per year
Purpose: As a Research Associate 1 at Diverge Translational Science Laboratory, you will support critical laboratory operations by conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating closely with senior researchers. This is an entry-level, hands-on position ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in scientific research and a desire to grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Prepare biological samples (human and animal) for analysis, including tissue processing, protein extraction, and BCA protein quantification assays

Perform immunoblotting assays using both capillary-based and traditional Western blot methodologies

Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using relevant software applications
-
Maintain accurate and complete electronic records of laboratory procedures, observations, and results
-
Assist with quality control of assays and troubleshooting protocols
-
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established procedures
-
Monitor laboratory supplies and inventory levels; communicate replenishment needs and place orders as directed

Contribute experimental data and results to study reports and supporting documentation

Participate in team meetings to review, discuss, and interpret experimental findings
-
Adhere to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards, laboratory safety requirements, and company procedures
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated ability and commitment to work collaboratively within a team environment, including receiving direction and feedback from managers and colleagues with professionalism, curiosity, and a growth mindset

Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline

1–3 years of hands-on laboratory experience performing immunoblotting, protein analysis, or related molecular biology techniques

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to data quality

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and common laboratory software
Preferred qualifications:

Prior experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting

Experience with ProteinSimple Jess or Wes systems

Relevant certifications (not required, but a plus)

POSITION TITLE: Quality Systems Associate
Salary range: $55,000-70,000, plus annual performance bonus
Purpose: This is a hands-on support role for the Quality Control Unit (QCU) and QA Manager. The individual in this role will help maintain and manage controlled documents and workflows within an electronic document management system (Benchling) and a quality/training system (MediaLab). This role is highly detail-oriented and execution-focused, supporting quality systems, study operations, and audit readiness in a GxP-regulated environment.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Document Control & Quality Systems

Update, review, route, and approve SOPs, forms, and controlled documents throughout the document lifecycle

Maintain document control systems and ensure version control and audit readiness

Collaborate with document owners to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively

Perform filing, scanning, organization, and archival of controlled documents

QA & Compliance Support

Support internal and client audits, including document retrieval and response coordination

Assist with investigations, deviations, and corrective actions

Ensure compliance with company SOPs and GxP standards

Study & Operational Support

Assist with study documentation and tracking

Perform sample blinding activities

Coordinate cross-functional workflows across teams

Archivist

Fulfill the role of DTSL’s Archivist

Maintain and verify electronic access and permissions

Archive/unarchive physical and digital study data as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) with 1–3 years of relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented, process-driven work with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
